Francisco Rodríguez

Laboratory Technician

Francisco has a high-school degree in Sciences and graduated in Anatomic Pathology and Cytology. Francisco earned his laboratory experience at the National Biological Research Center (CIB-CSIC), where he worked for almost 3 years. He managed the production of fungal enzymes, as well as the filtration and concentration of enzymatic crudes using techniques of centrifugation and ultracentrifugation. At PlantResponse™, Francisco manages and coordinates general laboratory tasks, and he works with molecular biology techniques (qPCR and genomic DNA extraction) to detect potential candidate microorganisms.

Francisco is our dancing star: when he hangs up his coat in the evening, he takes bachata and salsa lessons! He is passionate about dancing and he trains hard to dance on the top dance floors in Madrid.
